Ham & Cheese Pancakes

Method

Make breakfast extra tasty with this Ham and Cheese Pancake recipe. Perfect for the little ones, but equally loved by parents. Paired with a side salad, they can also double up as a delicious lunch.

  1. Whisk the flour, eggs, milk and salt together until you have a smooth batter.
  2. Heat a little knob of butter and a little oil in a non-stick frying pan.
  3. Add one ladle full of batter, swirl the mixture around the pan until it meets the edges.
  4. Sprinkle in some ham and cheese on top and cook for a minute on a medium heat.
  5. Fold over half of the pancake over the ham and cheese and cook for another minute.
  6. Once the cheese is melted and gooey, use a spatula and serve onto plate. Repeat as needed. Tuck in straightaway!

  • 2 eggs

  • 600ml milk

  • A pinch of salt

  • A little butter and oil for cooking

  • 300g of grated cheddar (or any cheese you fancy)

  • 300g ham thinly sliced
