Leading cooking appliance brand Belling has teamed up with Get Connected to offer one lucky retailer the chance to win an exciting exclusive promotion in their own showroom – a live cooking demonstration from top chef Brian Turner.
Open to all retailers that stock a minimum of five current Belling products, this competition’s fantastic prize of hosting a private event provides retailers with the perfect sales opportunity for new and existing customers that will drive footfall.
Brian Turner is one of Britain’s most well-known chefs with a string of successful restaurants and regularly appears on TV shows including 'Ready Steady Cook', 'This Morning', 'Saturday Cooks' and 'Saturday Kitchen'. As well as cooking up a feast live on a Belling appliance and sharing his top tricks of the trade, brand ambassador Brian will be on-hand to give practical advice about making the most of cooking on Belling’s diverse range of British-manufactured products.
Belling was established in 1912, and from the legendary Baby Belling to freestanding cookers, built-in ovens, and integrated appliances, right up to the new line of DB4 and Country Classic range cookers, Belling is now a firm family favourite and one of the largest brands in the UK cooking market.

Get Connected & Brian Turner competition terms & Conditions:
1. This competition is open to all UK retailers who stock and display a minimum of five Belling products.
2. Employees of the promoter, their immediate family and anyone else connected to the creation or administration of the promotion are exempt from entering the competition.
3. The competition runs from 24th June 2010 until 14th August 2010.
4. Closing date for receipt of entries is 14th August 2010.
5. The competition winner will be notified by 21st August 2010.
6. The winner of the competition will get Chef Brian Turner to do a live, 3 course cookery demonstration for customers in their showroom on either the 12th, 13th or 16th of October.
7. The winner must have a live cookery demonstration area. If Belling products are not currently installed in the demonstration area, the retailer will need to install those necessary for the duration of the event.
8. All ingredients will be supplied by Belling.
9. Belling will not supply beverages on the day.
10. All cooking utensils will be supplied by Belling.
11. There is no cash alternative.
12. The competition prize must be redeemed on either the 12th, 13th or 16th of October.
13. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize.
14. The judging panel’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

16. The competition winner will be required to participate in photography which may be used within print media and online.
17. Get Connected Magazine will attend on the day and include a write up of the event in the November edition.
18. Local media will be invited to attend the event on the day by Belling.
19. It is up to the winning retailer to have the necessary public liability insurance and health and safety cover.
20. The winning retailer is expected manage the event, including inviting guests, controlling attendance numbers and any relevant promotion of the event.
21. Any inappropriate or offensive behaviour on the day will be reported to the police.
